Heating Instructions

The best way to prepare your tamales is to use a steamer. The tamales should reach 165 degrees. However, the tamales are already cooked so the temperature is not critical.

Another way is to cover them with a damp paper towel and microwave them (thawed) on high for about 30 seconds per tamale. You can defrost them in your refrigerator or (carefully) on your countertop.

Leave them wrapped, at least in the husk, until ready to eat.
